Family Court Services Mediation

Unless parents have reached a mutual agreement as to the custody of the children, every county in California has a Family Court Services division offering mediation. Such mediation is mandated by the court to provide the judge with a recommendation for custody of the children.

We offer pre-mediation services to introduce you to questions often posed by mediators. We help you express what you want to say in mediation in a proper format.

Obviously, if you disagree with the mediator’s recommendation, our attorneys will zealously advocate on your behalf to strike down all or portions of the mediator’s report.

Paternity Cases

Paternity Cases deal with parents who are not legally married. Essentially, a paternity action is the legal recognition establishing parental rights of each party. It also serves as the foundation to establish child custody / visitation orders as well as child support orders.
